you claim I shouldn't have an assault weapon...when asked for the definition, or to clarify WHY the AR is one, you won't answer?

How do I know you are not fully informed on the topic but are wanting to restrict my rights based on emotion (i.e. AR is a scary looking gun...but I don't know anything about it).
