as a result of gun violence? Probably several kids among st them who will never have a chance to make something of themselves and live a full life. It will be a footnote at best on CNN.

These very statistically rare events guide 95% of the discussion, and the more common problems are ignored.

Much like a statistically rare percentage of covid cases turning fatal, and that causing sweeping changes to life for most people.
