I’m not at all sure you’re right.

But regardless, I love my country. I love it very much. Love is an emotion. Many of my opinions are based in part on that emotion. Is that a problem?

Have you ever made any decisions or formed any opinions based on the emotion called love? And remember, your wife could read this.

I think it is perfectly normal and indeed rational to base opinions in part on emotion
