I don't think this word means what you think it means.

I have paid taxes my entire life and have never once had the government, or their agents, steal it from me.

I do not agree with many taxes but each and everyone was passed by a vote of the people or representatives we chose to speak for us.

Theft - an unlawful taking of property

Every single tax I have ever paid was lawfully passed.
