world view of how things should be.

Reductio ad absurdum has been used since blatant times as a means of eposing flaws in an argument or assertion. If one takes that argument to its logical conclusions and it results in absurdity then there is a flaw in the argument or assertion.

This is one example of that. Pickle, however, rather than modifying his assertions doggedly sticks to it to the point of defending absurdity. In this case the absurdity is cancerous to a society.

Sure, adults standing on sidewalks masturbating in front of children in a schoolyard or in a playground is fortunately not all that common, but if pickle's views on such things were the basis for society it would be yet more fodder for the dystopian society we would all live in.
