seeing playing time are somewhere between slight and none and suggest they enter the transfer portal or find an FCS school that might want them. If they don't take your "suggestion", then you take more drastic action. Maybe. The last thing you want to do is get a bad reputation among high school coaches throughout the land who might think their former players weren't treated fairly. With that in mind, maybe you call their high school coach(es) and explain the situation so they're not blindsided.
