agree. But to only hold Senators accountable every 6 years is woefully weak. And they are absolutely allowed to vote their conscience. But I think the party is allowed to speak their collective conscience as well right back at them. If Senators can't take the heat of people back home saying publicly "We disagree" they should not hold the office.
