That is why you don't incur debt load you cannot afford. And to your last point, one reason the cost is so high is the loan money is so prevalent and easy to get schools are not forces to cut costs.
What I have not heard yet is the benefit economically and morally to society is of having all of us bail out those who took out these debts.
