(top 10 players in 2021 class, according to rivals)
Alabama - 5 signed with an in-state school
Arkansas - 4
Florida - 4
Even with all the opportunities to play D1 ball in Florida, it still exports a lot
Georgia - 6
Georgia is doing better than most at keeping in-state talent
Kentucky - 6
Weird. Even kids who go out of state don't go far, 6 stayed home, 3 went to neighboring Ohio, and 1 went to Purdue
Louisiana - 5 (and 3 still undecided)
Mississippi - 5
Missouri - 4
-MU seems about average when it comes to keeping kids home, maybe slightly above average
South Carolina - 2
Weird too. Only 2 of the top 20 stayed in state, and both at uSC. None chose Clemson.
Tennessee - 1
Woof
Texas - 3
Also woof. There was a time not long ago when 8/10 would have been UT, and everyone else would fight for the "scraps" of their top 50. Now it's UT hoping to get a handful of those. Times have changed.
