I am in the planning stages

I have taken some gains off of some stocks, and sold off some losers. And will have more cash this year to invest.

For commodities, I have generally used a traded ETF (like USO, GLD or UNG). those are obviously subjected to taxes.

I know bitcoin has one (GBTC).

Those are easy to trade as they are in my brokerage account...obviously they are less efficient as you are paying some fees and they don't match perfectly, but easy.

so this is just part of that exploration.

Things with volatility can actually be quite good as part of an investment portfolio.
