Seems to me the WBB recruiting hasn’t reached the level of corruption that the men’s game has. That allows in state schools better chances to win recruiting battles. There’s definitely some elite programs in the women’s game that wii come calling for the best players.
I’d like to see Mizzou get the best instate players as it seems more enjoyable to me as a fan. Grace Slaughter (2023) from Grain Valley is a really good commitment, as is Averi Kroenke from Rock Bridge. Addison Potts from Florida is a 2022 guard commit from Florida, and committed in the 8th grade.
Isabella Higginbottom is a top 100 player (guard) from Arkansas in the 2021 class.
Kiya Dorroh is a top 50 signee for next year, and she’s a 6’1 wing or guard.
Recruiting has picked up in the last couple years and seems to me we’re getting a stockpile of talented guards.
