I am all for helping out a state that suffereed from a natural disaster. These states like Illinois and California want you to bail them out for man-made disasters - their liberal policies that have put them in the position they are now (and were in well before you knew what the word Covid meant).

Why should my money go help make sure some state trooper in Illinois xontinues to get his full $100,000 pension this year? And after they get the money, they will be right back in two years asking for more because their system is not sustainable. Declare bankruptcy and fix the frigging problem.
