I think a lot depends on the definition of "elite". On the surface, just being recruited by an SEC school would allow "elite" to be attached to anyone. However, if to be elite you would mean a #1 as good as Chelsey was then you're right, we have no pitching.
I think having several good quality pitchers, if used properly, will greatly offset the lack of the #1, even if it wouldn't be enough to win it all.
