now preparing for a season with a certain set of players. And just like that, two of the keys to the season are removed, and essentially not replaced. That has to have a substantial effect on performance. Omazic and LMM are elite level players, and they're being replaced by serviceable non-elite players.
They will be better in the spring because they'll have had months to prepare to play without those two. Right now, without them, they look disjointed. Practice will make them better. They're not going to compete for championships now, unfortunately, but they'll be better.
