The ACA withstood a challenge in the supreme court in 2012. A component of the ACA act was successfully challenged by Trump. The concept of what is "constitutional" is not an absolute. Its subject to interpretation and your insistence in the unconstitutional nature of the ACA is just your interpretation. Obviously, the supreme court of 2012 disagrees with you.
Like I said, there are a few things I do think should be socialized like health care because it makes sense. Without medicaid, established in 1985 (which is also socialized health care), insurance companies would not be able to insure people at a cost many could afford. The cost of insuring older people would be far too high for private companies.
As to why I think this, it certainly isn't self interest. I'm not enrolled in ACA and I get decent enough coverage from my employer. Nor will I dependent on SS when I retire.
