I'm very skeptical that they actually announced themselves - and if they did, was it audible to the point that a sleeping person could hear it and respond.

Why are they serving a warrant after midnight? that fits in with the no-knock MO - they wanted to "catch a dealer before she could flush the drugs".

If that's the case, then it's unlikely that they announced themselves loudly enough that a sleeping Taylor/bf could hear them.
