today are not only considered normal, but are vehemently defended as such and are now considered mainstream?

professor who literally offered his home as a place of refuge to a new chinese student is being held up as a symbol of racism and hatred. that is ****ing bananas. it's also 100% expected and considered not only normal, but appropriate.
