financial empires built in college sports, particularly D1 football. Multi-million dollar contracts for coaches, Taj Mahal facilities and the recruitment of more and more people who have zero business being in a place of higher education. REmember, the playoff bowl system was not anything to get a true "national champion", it was a giant money grab.

This is just the trip wire that is blowing up the money machine. And plenty of AD's are staring at a house of cards financial collapse of epic proportions.
