poor comparison IMO

Farmers work a hell of lot harder than most of this generation, and understand a lot more about the ramifications of decision making and the concepts of succeeding or failing. I think it is a 'this' generation thing because I keep getting told everyone needs to adapt to their new way of thinking. That didn't happen with my generation, the one after it and certainly not the one before it.
