I don't get it, if you can't afford it you don't buy it. I'm not talking about house loans as much as i'm talking about the people that carry a ton of credit card debt. I don't understand how people get themselves in that sort of position unless it is some kind of medical emergency or issue and i doubt a very high percentage of people in debt to their eyeballs have that issue.

A lot of people choose to live beyond their means.
