That cynic might be right. I think the teachers' unions would love to see schools closed as it would disrupt the entire culture and economy, and further diminish Trump's chances of reelection. That is a pretty terrible reason to make such a decision, but a cynic could certainly attribute it to them.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
