but I think A&M would oppose it considering how advantageous the SEC has been for them, in terms of building their brand and a unique identity. I mean, they now have the richest AD in the country (#1).

So far, no one has benefited more from conference realignment than Texas A&M — and it's been mutually beneficial for the SEC.
