Two thirds of the schedule is on the road. While some of the duals are easy road travel, the majority of the conference schedule is too far to bus

Scholarships are similar 11.7 vs. 9.9.

It's a sport that isn't affiliated with the SEC, not to mention it gets someone out of the Hearnes Center which makes demolition more likely

Ideally it doesn't come to cutting sports but given the uncertain climate who knows. I hate throwing wrestling out there given it's Mizzou's most successful men's sport but with it being the odd man out in terms of conference affiliation and lacking the (potential) major donors (Scherzer et. al.) I'm afraid if a sport has to be cut it's wrestling.
