I don't disagree that it does not change the "legality" of it (if we view these issues from a positivist law standpoint), but it absolutely changes the nature of it.

Taxes are not voluntary. That is a 100% change in the nature of an obligation stemming from a voluntary action.

Your latest post reverts to "legality" which is not the issue.
