The protesters were trespassing on private property with visible no trespassing signs. Based on Missouri open carry laws, the guy was well within his Constitutional rights to do exactly what he did. This isn’t even getting into castle doctrine.

That stated, I do have an issue with the lady pointing her handgun at the protesters. If a gun was not pointed at her, she is committing assault by pointing the firearm in a threatening manner. She is in desperate need of a firearms safety course.

The DA is a puppet and will do whatever her manipulators request. She can confiscate the firearms, but the guy can and will take the City of St. Louis to the cleaners. My understanding is the DA confiscated the AR15 only (handgun was unavailable). My guess is those aren’t the only two firearms the couple owns. Might not be the best idea to trespass again and target the couple.

As for me, as previously mentioned below, I too lost all of my firearms in a boating accident. It was very unfortunate.
