The goal was to limit the spreading, not eliminate the virus. We did limit the spreading but we failed to maintain proper preventative measures that were in place.

We aren't back to where we were in May and there is still time to reverse our recent uptick but we are still going in the wrong direction. In June we were around 600 hospitalizations, now we are at 700. In May we were around 900.
