Schools will err on the side of caution when creating policies regarding their adjustments to the virus, which CANNOT exclude athletics. A big reason why has to do with fear of potential lawsuits, and each school has plenty of lawyers to remind them that any financial gains made from TV revenue this fall could be stripped away 10 fold if a few people get sick and die bc they attended or participated in a game on your campus. That's the reality of it.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
