it was either go with a guy that had some success at the p5 level or go for an up and coming mid-major coach. I didn't think CM was a bad hire at the time. I think everyone was excited when he pulled in the Porters, Robertson, Tilmon...
it just seems like the vision and execution have been lacking ever since. Just a jumble of players rotating in and out. This is a huge year. After this year over half the roster is open. I have a hard time believing he is going to fill that with really solid talent based on how his past few classes have looked.
