Simple as can be. He asked and pleaded to let him walk away to his sister's house. He passed the roadside sobriety test. He said he would leave his car there. No harm no foul. The next day was his daughter's six birthday.
But cops had to be macho. Yes chasing would have been preferable to shooting him in the back. Cop fired his in a drive through line. 3 shots, two hit the suspect. Where did the 3rd go? WAY better let the guy walk away. THAT is a change we need to see.
