not only because you cited CNN. Brooks own actions lead to his death at the hands of the cops. At any point he could have chosen to end his fight with the cops and he would be alive today. Had Brooks successfully tasered the officer, he could have taken the cops gun and could have used it. Its safe to assume the second cop would have shot Brooks before he could use the first cop's sidearm. The pursuing officers were not going to allow Brooks to escape after he had committed multiple felonies.
