Losing weight and adding muscle doesn't make you a playmaker or give you the ability to get your own shot or finish at the rim. And, if he doesn't have those abilities by now I doubt he will magically develop them. That said it would be great to have another dynamic threat on offense. I just don't see it being him. Kobe Brown? He's got a better chance to be that guy.
As for drawing up plays? I agree, doesn't happen much anymore. It's more about offensive flow. I guess what I'm saying is there are guys you involve in the on the ball action and dudes you stick in the corner. He's a guy you stick in the corner. I'd love for him to be a plus ball handler, plus athlete, plus playmaker for himself or others. But, other than blind hope, I don't know what it would be based on.
