out against Trump and the Insurrection Act. What I can't figure out is if they're against the Act all together, or if they're just against Trump using it. It was last used in 1992 for the L.A. Riots, and in reality it's no different than states utilizing the National Guard. For the record, Trump should stay out of it b/c the riots are a state and local issue.
Also, I don't recall any of these same military leaders speaking out against drone bombing American citizens (in fact, Mattis thought the use should have retaliated for Iran shooting a drone down), or going to war with other countries without congressional approval.
