Sure. One's perception of "higher power" evolves over time. As a child I believed in Patriarchal God. You know God, the Father. I have come now to understand or "believe in" and eternal energy source and intelligence that transcends all that is pervasive and present in all things and all beings. There is nothing that is not God. I try not to moralize to very much about it, to stand in your or another's face to preach my interpretation and demand you amend your ways to fit that interpretation or perspective.
I practice kirtans (look them up) when I get the chance which is the use of vibrations through chanting to reach a higher state, a transcendent state of Consciousness. It's an ancient technique that is pretty awesome. It works. Again, I am not insisting any follow that path, nor do I want others to inflict their path on others. Blah, blah, blah.
