Draft is about June 5th or so. So there would be about 2 weeks left in the season, then post season. If you’re team has a shot at the title, the players would stay.

But for the rest of the teams, there would really be no reason to stay. Classes are over and it’s “meaningless “ baseball. Kinda like not playing in bowl games. Not that I agree with it
