When a play fails you're assuming that running a DDF play, or whatever you say SHOULD have been run would have worked. And really we *you* have no idea. All we know is that what was run, didn't work and that can be for a variety of reasons I won't go into.
It's called Monday morning quarterbacking and no one does it as well as you. But in the interest of finding common ground we're at least very close in that DDF isn't a bad thing and that it can/should be run.
Looking back at the '07 team and re watching games we ran a fair amount of it seemed. In fact for all your complaints against Pinkel I didn't realize how many for example double reverses, laterals we ran. Of course when you have that kind of talent, about any play would work.
