opponent with the right type of 6'5 wing could create a mismatch on Doug Smith and effectively shoot over him at times or penetrate into our defense due to superior mobility. I concede that is a possible outcome in that scenario.
But by the same token Doug Smith would score EVERY SINGLE trip down the court with said opposing player defending him. All we would have to do is dribble the ball down court, pass it to him, then turn around and play defense.
And he would absolutely dominate the glass.
So I think we could live with that kind of a mismatch.
