Much better back then, and the teams had more experienced players, making them generally better than the teams today. This is true.

But to deny the fact that the style of play and strategy within the game has changed and therefore those teams would not have to adjust is ridiculous.

Peeler, McIntyre, and Coleman would have to play more while Leonard and Church would have to play less.
