I've said in the past, as an SEC school if we cared about basketball there are about 5-7 programs not in the SEC/B1G/ACC that should be considered out of scope for pillaging. Other than that, identify who you feel is the best candidate and take them from their current program. That is the way an actual program that cared about men's basketball would operate with the resources the SEC affords us. It is sort of how the other SEC schools have been operating while we have moved in the other direction.
