mediocre name that needs more than a CM, or CMA, or Haith-type name. In other words, coaches with some success that have coached D1 before coupled with the name Mizzou really doesn't garner any excitement with kids today. We have to overcome the impression (and probably rightfully deserved) that we're just another school with a basketball program. So unless we're willing or able to land a guy that the name on the front of the jersey means a lot less than the guy running everything, we'll be mired on mediocrity. So next hire needs to make Sportscenter as a lead story, not a rolling story on the ticker below.
