Who was an alum and had given his entire adult working life to his school.
Frank Solich had interest in the MU job when Bob Stull was let go. Missouri wasn’t going that path but he saw something in the job here.
With that, among countless integrity issues at Nebraska glossed over by everyone in the media under the sainted Dr. Tom Osborne, NU punted an alum who actually seemed to have integrity for more wins.
