Anyway, you’re missing my point. All it takes is for one variable in the equation to be off target in an exponential rather than linear way and thins turn out wrong. But we’re incredibly fortunate here, because the error, whatever it is, turned out to work in our favor

Then again, maybe God saw that His people had been faithful in their sacrifice and he decided to answer their prayers. You’re not discounting that are you??
