He was a student and fan first. That makes it more likely that he will choose someone from the first year he actually worked.
Devin West was a First-Team All-American. He broke a drought of 12 years of football without any All-American. Mizzou had also gone 14 years without any bowl game.
Oh, and West was the first running back All-American from Mizzou in 56 years.
That year shook Mizzou from being asleep and opened up the 21st century.
I think it is Devin West with Corby Jones tag-team.
