Hopefully saner heads will prevail.
But if the subcommittee recommended it, isn’t that a pretty strong indication it will happen?
Hopefully when they get into the weeds of rosters, scholarships, etc they will come to their senses.
But there are some powerful forces out there who really want it to happen. Look to the P5 schools who have loaded senior classes, and don’t want to lose a great opportunity to get to the WCWS this year and win a championship.
