not a student of Rothbard's ideas, but my question is this:
Is the 2nd paragraph true, or is it what you believe his ideas to be? I don't know that he believes that others can't intervene and rescue the child. If the parents then prevented assistance from coming, wouldn't they be infringing on the child's right to life?
So, while the parents don't have the obligation to do anything, it would be an affirmative act if they prevented others from doing so. Does that make sense?
