children die, or to sell them, or neglect them, but it is up to every individual to decide whether or not they have any moral obligations in that regard.
The end result, of course, would be a society where a lot of children are either sold, undoubtedly many to child molesters, human traffickers and so on, or neglected even to the point of letting them die.
Some people would decide not to do that to their children, however.
