As for God being a man-made concept (so is a compound modifier), it is an a category or name for man's effort to figure out the Source of being. Man from the outset has sought this.

No need to get too excited about it, though Source of Being is pretty cool - thus those of the Islamic Tradition like to proclaim There is nothing Greater than Source, Source Hu Akbar. All good. Ahura Mazda goes way back too.
