If all the information is sent to everyone at the same time, would that information not be used by everyone to make their decisions on the value of the stock?
This is an absolutely impossible task.
Why should someone have special access to information before others, be it good news or bad news. Would those without that special access be at a disadvantage?
Everything about markets and the economy is based on information asymmetries. And yes, those without access to certain information would be at a disadvantage... but we don't need the govt to interfere and try to cure something that will always exist.
