a. Federalism allows citizens to create governments at varying levels of society to support their needs. And just because you say I'm not a fan of federalism, doesn't make it so.
But you likened democracy to federalism. What if the local area instills a govt that has no democratic components? They really have little to do with each other, so I'm confused why you're trying to conflate them. And yes, you are not a fan of federalism, you are a staunch supporter of a big and strong central govt (you just want your preferred elite to be running it, instead of the current one).
b. Stay on message.
Yeah, I didn't think you would have much of a response to that.
c. People naturally create and form governments, yes. As civilizations and societies have settled, governments are the natural creation of those individuals. The individuals who helped to create the American gov't are those who you believe were infallible in their writing of the constitution.
No, they don't. Again, do you know anyone who has created and formed a government? Also, I don't believe that the individuals who wrote the Constitution were infallible; I've called the Constitution an incredibly flawed document multiple times on this Board. The Constitution represented a silent coup of power to increase the political power of the very few individuals who wrote and ratified it.
With that said, I'm still going to help people like you understand the original intent of the Constitution when you mistakenly say otherwise.
