Havnt paid much attention to the WNIT since we have been qualifying for the NCAA every year.
There was no reason we couldn’t have finished in 8th place, considering our closing schedule. Losing to Florida was a killer though.
Our only shot was to finish 8th and get the automatic SEC berth which isn’t conditioned on a .500 record.The 32 at large teams though have a condition of at least a .500 record. Which we have no shot at. Jeez I wonder if the coaches made the players aware that they had a decent shot at post season play before the Florida game. They sure didn’t play like it.
