WBB down 36-29 at half...

against a mediocre Florida team, 13-11, 4-7.

Pretty much a story of the season, can’t sustain good play for long periods of time. After Schuchts hits a 3 to open the game, Florida goes on a 19-4 run to go up 19-7. We looked pretty hapless then. Then of course we turn around and go on a 13-0 run ourselves, to take a 20-19 lead. Then Florida goes on a 17-6 run to go up 36-26, and Schuchts bookends the half with another 3 to bring us to 7 down.

We have our usual 8 turnovers at half (we average 16+ a game), and are getting outrebounded 23-17. We have 17 defensive rebounds, 0 offensive rebounds. No surprise there.

I am really hoping we can finish strong against a very weak schedule. Mathmatecally we could still finish anywhere from 8-8 in the conference and in 8th place, to 3-13 and in last place. But we will finish ahead of Ole Miss at least because the winless Rebels have no path to 3 wins.

Hope we pull it together in the 2nd half and go 5-0 or 4-1 to close the season.
